Wilderness Camping is for the adventurous teen who would rather sleep on a bed of pine needles than a comfy cot! This unforgettable week is designed for teens ages 13–16 who are ready to step outside their comfort zone and experience the wild.
Campers will travel off CAMP property to Algonquin where the adventure really begins. Guided by everyone’s favourite wilderness expert, “Hey-U,” and supported by volunteers, teens will learn the skills needed to thrive outdoors.
Through daily devotionals, meaningful discussions, and hands-on experiences, campers will learn how to build shelters, start a fire, purify water, and discover what it really takes to survive in the wilderness. Expect challenge, laughter, faith, and memories that will last long after the campfire burns out.
