Hello! My name is Ian DeJong, but I am more commonly known as Vito while I’m at camp. I have the privilege of serving as Campfire’s director this summer! This means that I am tasked with making sure that everything runs smoothly, leading staff meetings, and answering any questions that come up :) When I’m not doing camp work, I am usually reading, writing, or playing basketball. As I enter my fourth year as a staff member at Campfire, I am looking forward to facilitating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where we can serve and praise God together! As 1 John 4:11 says, "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” I pray that these words will be a source of inspiration for anyone who steps foot on the Campfire property.
