Let me introduce myself! My name is Cornelius Broersma, but at camp I am known as Psir Cheez. Once again, I have the privilege of going back to camp this summer as director. Some of my favourite things about Campfire! are singing around the fire, swimming in the pool, meeting new campers, showing visitors around the property, going to Wasaga beach, spending time in prayer, coffee on the front porch of the lodge in the morning, and just praising God in everything we do. I am so blessed to be able to share camp with my family: my wife Mindy, and my 3 children, Chloe, Joel and Ethan.
When I am not at Campfire Bible Camp, I teach Grade 6 from Monday to Friday at Timothy Christian School in Hamilton. We attend Mercy Christian Church in Hamilton on Sundays, and have a great church family there. Some of the things I like to do when I have spare time are: watching sports, puzzling, reading, watching sports, playing board games and spending time with my friends and family.
