Hi Friends! My name is Nancy Vink but at Campfire! you will get to know me by London Fog! At Campfire! this summer I can be found in the Kitchen doing all the Head Cook-y kind of things. My aim is to keep the hungry campers at bay, feed the staff a well balanced diet, encourage the volunteers in the kitchen, and sing praises to God. A few of my favourite things about camp: the smell of fresh muffins while sitting on the porch enjoying (eerm a London Fog) a warm beverage and hearing counsellors walking up whistling God's praises.
While I am not at Camp, I am a Mom, to Keira and Avery and a wife to Jerry Vink. I work in the beautiful village of Elora as the Supervisor of the Elora Cooperative Preschool (the best place to work!). I have the privilege of spending my days with the little ones, and my co workers Lesley, Lisa and Carolyn! And when I'm not doing both of those things I love walking with my friends, and spending time with my Hamilton family.
I'm looking forward to this summer at Campfire!, a safe haven for children and teens, where all can sing at the top of their lungs, ask questions about Jesus, love and be loved.
